Abstract

In order to find a safe , environmentally friendly and efficient technology for the preservation of blueberry , in this paper , we use 60 Co-γirradiation to deal with "Lan Feng"blueberries and regularly test the indexes of blueberry fruit, such as decay rate, fruit firmness, TSS content, TA content,VC content,anthocya-nin content , respiration intensity , membrane permeability and MDA content .Finally come to the conclusion:(1)Low dose (0.5 kGy) irradiation had not obvious effects on quality and physiology of blueberry fruit during cold storage was not obvious , and high does (3 kGy) irradiation can accelerate the aging process of blueberry in the late period of storage;(2)After irradiation,VC content and anthocyanin content of blueberry fruit were both decreased,and was negatively correlated with irradiation dose;(3)1~2.5 kGy irradiations can not only reduce the rot rate and hardness of blueberry fruit ,but also slow down the degradation of nutrients and physio-logical function of blueberry fruit druing the cold storage ,among them,2.5 kGy was the best dose and its stor-age period is up to 71d.Therefore,60 Co-γirradiation is an effective method to improve the storage quality and prolong the storage period of blueberry fruit .
