Discussion on the Spinning Process and Morphology of Livistona Regenerated Cellulose Fiber

摘要

Abstract

In order to obtain livistona regenerated cellulose fiber with better mechanical property ,cellulose pulp was prepared with raw material of livistona .N-methylmorpholineoxide system was adopted to dissolve livis-tona cellulose and to prepare the spinning solution .Then ,livistona regenerated cellulose fiber was spun by dry-wet spinning process .The influence of dry-wet spinning conditions on the fibers mechanical property was discussed .It included drawing ratio in spinning nozzle ,height of air layer ,temperature of coagulation bath ,concentration of spinning solution and so on .The results show that the fiber mechanical properties are better when the drawing ra-tio in spinning nozzle is 3 .4 ,the height of air layer is 2 .2 cm ,the temperature of coagulation bath is 16 ℃ and the concentration of spinning solution is 9% .The fiber linear density is 17 .83 dtex ,the breaking intensity is 2 .21 cN/dtex ,the breaking elongation is 8 .71% and the initial modulus is 74 .55 cN/dtex .It is considered that the livistona regenerated cellulose fiber is obtained through optimized spinning process can meet the weaving re-quirement .
