Construction of Evaluation Index System of Falls in Elderly Hospitalized Patients Based on Nursing-sensitive Outcomes

Abstract
Objective To construct quality evaluation indexes system for the prevention of falls in elderly hospitalized patients based on nursing-sensitive outcomes. Methods With Delphi method,after 2 rounds of 23 experts consultation,the evaluation index system for the prevention of falls in elderly patients was developed. Results The quality evaluation index system for the prevention of falls in elderly hospitalized patients included 7 primary indicators and 29 secondary indicators. Two rounds of expert positive coefficients were 100% and 100% respectively and expert coordination coefficient of 2 rounds was statistically significant(P<0.01). The coefficient of the 2nd round of expert consultation was 0.91; familiar coefficient 0.94 and authority coefficient 0.93. Conclusion After consultation, modification and deletion of entries by experts, the established quality evaluation indexes system for the prevention of falls in elderly hospitalized patients is reliable and it provides method and reference for the evaluation of preventing falls in elderly hospitalized patients.关键词
