Abstract
The formation,occurrence,syndrome and treatment of phlegm heat in the lung were explored. Ex-ternal contraction of six pathogenic factors,turbid smog,and internal damage due to improper food,mental disorders,over strain,andabnormalbody constitution,are the major factors to cause phlegm heat in the lung. Phlegm heat in the lung can lead to liver qi failing to diffuse and descend,manifesting as cough,asthma, dyspnea,lung abscess. Phlegm heat accumulating for long time can damage lung qi and lung distending, manifesting as lung distension;or it can consume qi and yin,or block the qi in the fu-organs. The treat-ments for lung heat include clearing heat and dissolving phlegm,dispersing and lowering qi. For the stub-born phlegm with stagnation,the salty and cold herbs for softening the hard should be applied. Besides,qi and yin should be protected,and qi in the fu-organs should be regulated.关键词
