摘要

Abstract

Sparkle is one of the main factors which have a significant influence on anti-glare display .As the requirements of display resolution continue to improve,more and more attention has been focused on the sparkle .But up to now ,there is no uniform knowledge and standards on the exact definition , the cause ,the characterization methods and evaluation indicators of sparkle .The Sparkling phenome-non and definition are introduced in this paper .According to measurement ,sparkle's current represen-tation methods are divided into two categories :artificial identification and objective analysis ,and the main research methods are summarized in this paper .For example ,Gollier and Becker presented the evaluation systems of the sparkle and give the related parameters respectively .Other researchers like Evans did some psychophysical experiments to evaluate the effect of the sparkle based on the work of Gollier and Becker .The research progress of sparkle on anti-glare display are reviewed systematically in this article .It will provide a valuable reference for further study on the sparkle and help to set standardized evaluation methods and criterion in the future .
