A Novel Seven-level ANPC Inverter Topology and Its Commutating Strategies

Abstract
The active neutral-point-clamped (ANPC) Multilevel inverter is a newly emerging inverter.This paper analyzed the switching status of the normal seven-level active neutral-point-clamped (ANPC-7L) inverter,introduced a method of floating capacitor voltage controlling and pointed out the problems of dynamic voltage balancing in series switches and multi voltage level jumping during switching status transition.This paper presented a novel improved topology and commutating strategies which can completely resolve these two problems.The feasibility of the proposed topology and commutating strategies were verified by experimental results from a 380V/5kW ANPC-7L inverter.关键词
