Postoperative complications and treatments of patients with congenital blepharophimosis syndrome

Abstract
Objective To summarize the complications of congenital blepharophimosis syndrome and the corresponding treatments. Methods This study retrospectively analyzed patients who were diagnosed with congenital blepharophimosis syndrome and had surgery in Beijing Children' s Hospital. Patients were followed up for half a year. Results 72 patients were in the study,average age 3.4 years. Complications of I stage were canthus opened failed, the inner canthus scar, epiphora. Complications of II stage were material exclusion, keratitis, corneal ulcer, eyelid retraction, eyelid angulation, eyebrow folds and so on. Conclusion Congenital blepharophimosis syndrome is congenital malformations of the eye. Surgical treatment can be effectively corrected. Postoperative complications and treatments are useful for doctors.关键词
