Effect of different switchgrass(Panicum virgatum L.) planting years on soft salt ions

Abstract
The field trials were conducted to explore the ameliorative effect of switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.) on saline alkali soil in Ningxia Xidatan.This paper studied the effects of 1,3 and 5 years(T1,T3,T5) of planting switchgrass on the salt ions,taking the uncropped saline waste land adjacent to the experimental site as the control (CK).The results showed that the effects of switchgrass on soil salt ions were enhanced,and the concentration of Na+,SO42-and Cl-in soil decreased gradually with the increase of planting years.Compared with CK,the concentration of Na+,SO42-and Cl-of T5 decreased by 52.64%,40.37% and 52.64% in the last growth period of switchgrass.The concentration of Ca2 +,Mg2 + was positively correlated with planting years of switchgrass,the concentration of Ca2 +,Mg2 + of T5 increased 2.22 % and 48.08 % than that of CK in the last growth period of switchgrass.Under conditions of the present study,the effects of switchgrass on soil salt ions were the most significant at the 5th year after establishment.关键词
