摘要

Abstract

To satisfy the reliable transmission of visible light communication (VLC) data and recover the lost VLC data, a data transmission scheme based on VLC server retransmission and recovery mechanism is pro-posed. Firstly, the VLC server is adopted for data error detection and retransmission operation to reduce the recognition error caused by delay. Then, at the completion of the VLC data transmission, the VLC server sends a control message to confirm the packet (data segment) is lost or not. Finally, the protocol of remote de-vice management (RDM) used for two-way communication between the lighting controller and lighting e-quipment, so as to determine the retransmission packets (data segment). Simulation results show that the relia-bility of proposed scheme is better than that of the existing E1.45 schemes. In the four retransmission schemes, the proposed scheme performs better in outputs, and it has more advantage of immediate recovery.
