Experimental and NRTL Modeling of Liquid-Liquid Equilibrium for HPP-H2O-Na2SO4 Aqueous Two-Phase Systems

Abstract
Liquid-liquid equilibrium data of HPP-H2O-Na2SO4 aqueous two-phase systems were determined under different concentrations at 303.15~323.15 K. The liquid-liquid equilibrium data were correlated by NRTL equation. The results show that good agreements can be obtained with the experimental data. The root-mean-square deviation (RMSD) and the average absolute deviation (AAD) between calculated and experimental values are less than 2% and 1.5%, respectively. The binary interaction parameters change with temperature (except the binary interaction parameters between HPP and Na2SO4). The binary interaction parameter of Na2SO4 to H2O reaches maximum at 313.15 K, which is mostly affected by temperature.关键词
