摘要

Abstract

The existing spring operating mechanism cannot meet the requirements of 550 kV or higher voltage circuit breaker due to the limitation of technical level.In this study,a modem design method based on the functional design and virtual prototype simulation was presented to develop a spring operating mechanism,whose storage energy time is less than 15 s,closing energy (including opening energy) is 6 600 J,and opening energy is 5 200 J.This spring operating mechanism has been applied in the 550 kV SF6 circuit breaker.Test results showed that the spring operating mechanism could fully satisfy the design requirements of opening and closing operation for the 550 kV SF6 circuit breaker.
