Abstract
Objective To compare the difference between the ACE-R scale and MoCA scale in assessing MCI patients . Methods 182 elders were enrolled in this research .According to the level of cognitive ,patients were divided into three groups in-cluding normal control group (NC) ,MCI group and AD group ,each with 70 NC individuals ,52 MCI patients and 60 AD patients , respectively .The neuropsychological tests in different groups such as the ACE-R ,MoCA were completed .Receiver operating char-acteristic(ROC)curve was adopted for comparing differences .Results Compared with group NC ,group MCI showed statistical difference on ACE-R and MoCA scale scores(P<0.001) ,the scores of memory component were mostly decreased .ROC results showed that the two scales both had high sensitivity ,the total time to assess ACE-R scale was significantly more than MoCA scale .Conclusion Both scales can evaluate MCI ,MoCA had advantages of less time consuming ,ACE-R assessment can assess MMSE score and each factor at the same time ,and ACE-R has a higher sensitivity in memory component score .Therefore ,in the clinical work ,MoCA assessment has an advantage in early screening ;The ACE-R scale can get more detailed information ,facilitate to follow-up in the future .关键词
