Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of blood pricking therapy on serum uric acid (UA) and liver and kidney function in hyperuricemic rats.Methods:A total of 40 male SD rats were randomly divided into normal group,model group,allopurinol group and blood pricking group.Rats with hyperuricemic were included by adenine and ethambutol hydrochloride intragastrically.After 4 weeks of modeling success,rats in allopurinol group lavaged allopurinol,twice a week;rats in blood pricking group were pricked for bloodletting on the rats leg collaterals of " ‘Weizhong’ (BL40)" and "'Zusanli'(ST36)" until the eighth week.At the end of eighth week,the level of uric acid (UA),creatinine (Cr),blood urea nitrogen (BUN),aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) were detected in rats.Results:The model group showed higher levels of UA,Cr and BUN content activity of AST and ALT than the normal group (P＜0.05);the allopurinol group showed lower levels of UA than the model group,as well as higher activity of ALT than the model group (P＜0.05).The blood pricking group showed lower levels of UA,Cr and BUN content as well as lower activity of AST and ALT than the model group (P＜0.05).Conclusion:The blood pricking therapy can reduce the level of UA in rats with hyperuricemia induced by adenine combined with ethambuol and relieve liver and kidney function in rats.关键词
