健康人群血清和血浆渗透压参考范围及检测稳定性的调查
The investigation on the reference intervals and measurement stability of human serum and plasma osmolality

Abstract
Objective To establish the reference intervals of human serum and plasma osmolality levels in our laboratory and ex-plore the measurement stability.Methods The osmolality was measured using freezing point depression by micro-osmometer fiske 210;the corresponding calibrator and quality control materials were used in our laboratory.Totally 586 healthy adults were enrolled and their serum and plasma osmolality levels were tested and the reference range was established based on the x ± 1.96 SD.Stability of serum and plasma osmolality in different clinical laboratory storage temperatures was evaluated.Results Coefficient of variances of intra-assay and between-day of the osmolality assay were 1.70% and 1.81%.These results indicated that our system had good analytical performance.All subjects were classified into 2 groups according to gender.There was insignificant difference between 2 sex groups.The reference range of osmolality for serum and plasma was 283-303 and 301—333 mOsm/kg,respectively.There were significant difference between serum and plasma groups(P<0.05).Serum(plasma)osmolality was stable at room temperature for 7days (increased),2—8 ℃for 11 days and at —20 ℃(decreased)for 14 days.However,when stored at 2—8 ℃,blood osmolality decreased on the first day then gradually increased.Conclusion Specimen type was an important influence factor for blood osmolali-ty and reference range of blood osmolality should be established according to different specimens.Blood osmolality was relatively stable at different temperatures.If storage is necessary,samples should be stored at room temperature and storage at 2—8 ℃ is not recommended.关键词
