Abstract
Objective To compare the efficacy of proximal femoral nail antirotation ( PFNA) and DHS in the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures. Methods The 72 patients with intertrochanteric fractures were divided into two groups according to the treatment methods , 40 cases were treated with PFNA ,32 cases were treated with DHS , the operation and postoperative indexes of the two groups were compared. Results Two groups both received postoperative follow-up of 12~18 months. The length of incision, intraoperative blood loss, operation time, normal activity time, weight bearing time , no crutches time , fracture healing time in PFNA group were all superior than those in DHS group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).At 12 months postoperation, the excellent-good rate of Harris score in PFNA group was higher than that in DHS group , the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05 ).The excellent-good rate of fracture reduction quality in PFNA group was higher than in DHS group , the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions PFNA has less trauma, the operation is simple, less bleeding, postoperative complications are few , satisfactory reduction of fracture , quick recovery and other advantages , the utility model is especially suitable for osteoporotic intertrochanteric fractures of the femur.关键词
