Method of Safety Assessment for Adjacent Building Under Unloading of Underground Excavation

Abstract
The excavation of underground engineering construction could threaten the safety of adjacent buildings. It is inadequate that existing buildings safety assessment methods rely solely on a single indicator for evaluation, so, some items were selected as the control indexes of the building deformation, including settlement, partially inclined, horizontal strain, vertex displacement, and deflection ratios. Thereby, considering the response of each index above, a method of safety assessment for adjacent building under unloading of underground excavation was proposed, where Analysis Hierarchy Process ( AHP ) was employed to determine the weight of the control indexes above in the building safety evaluation. Finally, combined with finite element numerical simulation, a masonry-concrete building' s safety which was adjacent to one pit engineering for a subway station was evaluated.关键词
