一种EHOPPPA算法改进LTE切换性能的研究
Research on a EHOPPPA algorithm improving handover performance of LTE

Abstract
As the handover procedure of LTE supports multiple handover preparations,an early handover preparation with ping-pong avoidance(EHOPPPA) algorithm is proposed to successfully re-establish the radio link failed in handover procedure. With the algorithm,the user can receive the target base station′s multiple handover command messages for handover prepara-tion,and the optimal target base station is selected by means of cell. The OPNET simulation results show that the algorithm can reduce the handover failure rate by 60% in handover procedure,and the successful recovery probability of radio link failure (RLF) in handover procedure is nearly 100% without addition of the ping-pong effect. Therefore,the algorithm can improve the successful rate of handover,and its effect is particularly obvious,especially in densely-populated areas.关键词
