摘要
Abstract
Objective To compare the effects of propylthiouracil and thyroid hormone tablets in the treatment of senile hyperthyroidism.Methods A total of 102 senile patients with hyperthyroidism to receive treatment in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group (n=51,respectively).The control group was treated with thyroid hormone tablets and the observation group with propylthiouracil for three months.The improvement of symptoms and the quality of life after the treatment between the two groups were compared.Results After the treatment,the scores of heart palpitations,sweating,overeating and weight loss in the observation group were much lower than those in the control group,while the mental health and physical fitness scores were significantly higher than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Compared with thyroid hormone tablets,propylthiouracil can better relieve the clinical symptoms in patients and improve the quality of life,and has better effects in the treatment of senile hyperthyroidism.关键词
