Abstract

ABSTRACT:As an increasing number of microgrids are integrated to the power system, many regional multi- microgrids systems emerge gradually with microgrids being clustered in a certain region. By the power interaction among microgrids and the coordination of micro-sources output in each microgrid, the total operation efficiency of the regional multi-microgrids system can be improved. Therefore, an optimal dispatching model of regional multi-microgrids system with CCHP(combined cooling, heating and power) considering the power interaction among microgrids and the power output coordination of micro-sources was built. This model not only took into account the power interaction between microgrid and the distribution grid as well as the one among microgrids, but also considers the influence of the power interaction among microgrids on the output of inner refrigeration and heating micro-sources in microgrids. The objective is the minimal total operation cost of multi- microgrids system. In the case study, the output of micro- sources in microgrids and the total operation cost of multi-microgrids system under independent operation mode and the coordination mode of each microgrid in multi-microgrids system were analyzed, and the total regional multi-microgrids were compared. The test results show that the outputs of inner micro-sources of microgrids would be influenced in the case that the interactive power among microgrids is under consideration, and the total operation cost of CCHP type regional multi-microgrids system would be reduced by the coordination optimization of multi-microgrids, which showed the effectiveness and economy of the proposed model.
