Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of Ki-67 and prognosis in patients with osteosarcoma. Method 30 cases of osteosarcoma patients and 21 cases of osteochondroma patients were selected from January 2011 to May 2013 in our hospital. The expression of Ki-67 were detected in 30 osteosarcoma tissues and 21 osteochondroma tissues by MaxVisionTMof immunohistochemistry. The prognosis of osteosarcoma patients was observed and analyzed. Result The positive expression rate of Ki-67 in osteosarcoma tissues was significantly higher than the positive expression rate of Ki-67 in osteochondroma tissues (P<0.05). Followed-up of 48 months, 16 patients with osteosarcoma survived and the survival rate was 53.33%. Single factor analysis showed that the survival rate of patients with osteosarcoma was related to tumor diameter, Enneking stage, and distant metastasis (P < 0.05). Survival analysis showed that the survival time of Ki-67 negative expression was significantly higher than that of Ki-67 positive expression (P < 0.05). COX multifactor regression showed that the positive expression of Ki-67 of osteosarcoma tissues and distant metastasis were the independent factors in the prognosis of patients with osteosarcoma (P<0.05). Conclusion Ki-67 is high expression in osteosarcoma tissues, the positive expression of Ki-67 and distant metastasis are expected to evaluate the prognosis of patients with osteosarcoma.关键词
