Abstract

Transformer noise is the main noise sources in substations. Research on transformer active noise control (ANC) is able to make up the deficiency of the passive noise reduction method for low-frequency noise control effect. The noise signal of power transformer was collected and analyzed, and a complex acoustic wave model was established. A disturbance tracking method was proposed. The 100 Hz, 200 Hz, 300 Hz frequency noise components were set as the target to be elimiated on the analysis of the characteristic of transformer noise and the contribution of sound pressure level of each frequency. The disturbance tracking method was realized by industrial control computer and visual programming. Signal acquisition and output were realized by PCI data card, microphone and loudspeaker. On this basis, the active noise control experimental system were build up. The experiment was carried out in 110 kV substation. The results show that the system can reduce the noise in the fan shaped area with an angle of 40 degrees, which lay the foundation for the engineering application of the active noise control system.
