摘要
Abstract
A new solution to locate the open circuit fault of switching device IGBT and diode in the main circuit of PWM rectifier was proposed. It was analyzed that part of the current waveform will change or miss,when the single IGBT and diode open circuit fault occured. So it could be concluded that the power corresponding to the positive and negative current of one phase would be reduced,when IGBT and diode open circuit fault occured in this phase. C mx ,the normalized value of power corresponding to the positive and negative current of each phase was used to locate the fault phase. Then,dxn ,1/4 cycle power difference of the fault phase current,was utilized to make a distinction between the IGBT fault and the diode fault.The simulation proves that it is highly reliable and load independent except in the light load condition. Besides,it can be also adopted in part of the condition where two IGBTs or diodes open circuit occur.关键词
