种茎种植方式及芽向对木薯农艺和产量性状的影响
Effects of Seed-stem Planting Pattern and Bud-eye Direction on Agronomic and Yield Characters of Cassava

Abstract
The cassava variety SC 205 was used as experimental material to conduct two-factor randomized-block test. The survival rates of seedlings in each plot were investigated two months after planting, and the agronomic and yield characters of cas-sava plants in each plot were recorded in harvest period. The results showed that both seed-stem planting pattern and bud-eye di-rection had obvious effects on the agronomic and yield characters of cassava plants, and the effect of planting pattern was greater than that of bud-eye direction. As compared with the inclined planting, the horizontal planting increased the fresh tuber yield, dry tuber yield and starch yield of cassava by 22.5% ( P<0.05) , 19.9% ( P<0.05) and 17.6%, respectively. The effects of different bud-eye directions on cassava yield exhibited the following order:southward > eastward > westward > northward, the fresh tuber yield, dry tuber yield and starch yield of cassava in the southward bud-eye treatment were separately 34.1%, 38.0% and 42.0%higher than those in the northward bud-eye treatment, and the differences all reached a significant level ( P<0.05) . The yield of horizontally-planted cassava with different directions of bud-eye showed the following sequence: southward > eastward > north-ward > westward, the fresh tuber yield, dry tuber yield and starch yield of cassava in the southward bud-eye treatment were sepa-rately 40.82%, 42.68% and 44.29% higher than those in the westward bud-eye treatment, and the differences all reached a sig-nificant level ( P<0.05) . The yield of obliquely-planted cassava with different directions of bud-eye showed the following order:eastward > southward > westward > northward, the fresh tuber yield, dry tuber yield and starch yield of cassava in the eastward bud-eye treatment were respectively 50.02%, 60.94% and 71.80% higher than those in the northward bud-eye treatment, and the differences all reached a significant level ( P<0.05) .关键词
