Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of laparoscopic surgery on the elderly with acute cholecystitis. Methods A retrospective analysis was made to 60 elderly patients with acute cholecystitis hospitalized during the period from December,2014 to December,2016,who were randomly divided into 2 groups:observation group (n =30) and control group (n=30);laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed on patients in observation group while open cholecystectomy on patients in control group;a comprehensive evaluation was made to the surgical success rate, the occurrence of complications, hospitalization days and the bleeding volume in operation of the patients in the 2 groups. Results The surgical success rate in observation group was 96.7 % while that in control group was 70.0 %,the difference between the 2 groups was of statistical significance (P < 0.05);the occurrence of complications in observation group was 6.7 % while that in control group was 33.3 %,the difference between the 2 groups was of statistical significance (P<0.05);there existed obvious difference between the 2 groups in operation time length, the bleeding volume in operation and hospitalization days (P<0.05).Conclusions Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is of smaller wound, higher success rate and less complications in treating acute cholecystitis in the elderly, and it can shorten the hospitalization duration and raise the living quality of the elderly;it is worthy of wider clinical application.关键词
