摘要

Abstract

To investigate the antihypertensive activities of the polysaccharides from the stems of 4 Dendrobium species (Dendrobium officinale,Dendrobium nobile,Dendrobium wardianum and Dendrobium Second Love ‘Tokimeki’),the antihypertensive effects of crude polysaccharides,purified polysaccharides and polysaccharide fractions were determined by hypertensive rats in this study.The results showed that all polysaccharides from the 4 Dendrobiumn species had antihypertensive effects on spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR),and they significantly decreased blood pressure in rats with the increasing of polysaccharide purity or time extention,and significantly higher than nifedipine (positive control) after treatment for 240 min.The antihypertensive effects of the polysaccharide fractions from D.nobile were better than the crude polysaccharides and purified polysaccharides,while the three kinds of polysaccharides were insignificant in D.officinale,D.wardianum or D.Second Love ‘Tokimeki’.Among the 4 polysaccharide fractions from the 4 species,there was no significant difference to reduce blood press.It was suggested that all polysaccharides from the 4 Dendrobium species showed certain antihypertensive activities,and the polysaccharide fractions had better antihypertensive effects,which had a good medicinal prospect.
