高产优质球茎甘蓝新品种‘沪苤1号’的选育
Breeding of a new high-yield and good-quality kohlrabi variety'Hupie 1'

Abstract
The new kohlrabi variety'Hupie 1',bred by crossing a cytoplasmic male sterile line CMS-13-390 with an inbred line Pielan 13-289,takes about 75 d from field planting to initial harvest and has strong growth vigor.It averages 14 leaves per plant,51 cm in plant height and 60 cm in spreading diameter.Its maximum values of leaf length and width and petiole length are respectively 42 cm,20 cm and 12 cm.The corm has fresh green and smooth surface,is oblate in shape,14 cm in diameter and 11 cm high,and weighs 1.2 kg.The corm has a relatively high total sugar content and good edible quality.The variety,having obvious resistance to black rot,yields averagely 3 930.83 kg/667 m2 and increases by 10.58％ over the control variety 'Kerunhuaguan'.关键词
