摘要

Abstract

In this paper , graphene oxide nanosheets decorated with MoS2 quantum dots were used as photocatalysts in water splitting for H2 production . The morphology ,N2 adsorption/desorption isotherm curves ,Nyquist plots , J-t curves ,and the photocatalytic performance of MoS2 quantum dots-graphene oxide (MG) composite were examined . This study indicates that the MG composite reaches the highest hydrogen evolution rate at graphene oxide content of 2.0 wt% . This high photocatalytic performance is attributed to the improved specific surface area and the enriched active sites . Moreover , the enhanced photocatalytic activity also is associated with the presence of graphene oxide ,which serves as an electron transporter to facilitate the separation of photogenerated charge carriers .
