The effects of embedded groove on the resonance transmittance properties of metallic subw avelength slit
摘要
Abstract
In this paper , the effect of the embedded groove structure on the transmission properties is studied at the specific wavelength 852 nm . The results show that the metal slits with embedded groove structure present both transmission enhancement or weakening phenomenon ,which mainly depend on the geometric parameters and groove position of the groove . The SPPs are excited at the defects of the grooves and slits ,and the excited SPPs interact with the incident waves . The embedded groove structure and the slit structure both form a resonant cavity . The change of the parameters and position of the groove will affect the phase of SPPs and the coupling of SPPs and incident light . These results are helpful to enhance the transmission efficiency of subwavelength metal structures . Meanwhile , it is facilitative to further explore the mechanism of SPPs and the enhancement of transmission mechanism of slit structures .关键词
