Study on Problems and Solutions of Government Social Media Information Management From the Perspective of Platforms

Abstract
[Purpose/Significance]The paper aimed to propose sound management strategy for government social media information due to effective recordkeeping of such information contributing to open government.[Method/Process] The paper took the method of case study and discourse analysis to present how social media provider support government so -cial media information management by investigating their policies.[Results/Conclusion]The paper found that three plat-forms offer limited support for government social media information management and perspective of users is ignored.Then, the paper proposed that social media service providers should build better information management capability by emphasizing government social media information, focusing on users, and combining professional information management with platform design.关键词
