SSPOS: a Software for Simulating, Predicting and Optimizing Social Genetic Effects
摘要
Abstract
The objective of this study was to develop a software tool for exploring social genetic effects of some ecomomic traits of livestock and poultry.According to the previous selection theories of the social genetic effects and its optimal selection methods developed by our group,we developed a software system for simulating,predicting and optimizing the social genetic effects (SSPOS) using QT,Fortran and R etc.,which was a tool for comprehensively analyzing the social genetic effect of economic traits in livestock population and visualizing the results using many enriched interfaces.We could effectively simulate selection progress of social genetic effects under different cases,rapidly predict the social genetic effects for some actual data by SSPOS,and obtain the optimal selection decision of social genetic effects for the target traits in breeding schemes.The results indicate that SSPOS is a useful tool to investigate the social behavior interaction of livestock and poultry,and can rapidly analyze social genetic effects of the economic traits.关键词
