Preparation and photocatalytic activity of CaSO4-TiO2 composite catalyst

Abstract
The nanocomposite photocatalysts of CaSO4- TiO2 were prepared by sol- gel method, which were characterized by Raman, BET, XRD and AFM. The preparation conditions of CaSO4- TiO2 nano catalyst were optimized. Using dyeing wastewater containing Rhodamine B as a probe, the photocatalytic performance of the catalysts was evaluated under UV and visible light irradiation. The results showed that the catalytic ef?fect of CaSO4- TiO2 was best when the molar ratio of CaSO4 and TiO2 was 1:5 and temperature was 500 ℃, and the photodegradation rate could reach above 96%under visible light irradiation for 180 min.关键词
