Forgiveness Trajectories of Interpersonal Transgressions Victim: A Latent Growth Curve Analysis

Abstract
Objective:To explore the forgiveness trajectories of university student who was committed interpersonal transgressions in 10 days,and the impact of rumination on interpersonal forgiveness.Methods:A five-wave longitudinal study were conducted among 318 university student who was committed interpersonal transgressions and Latent growth mod eling was used to examine the growth trajectories.Results:①Victims' forgiveness increased linearly during the follow-up period.Significant variability in the initial levels and growth rate change in forgiveness over time was also found;②Rumination at each testing point reduced victims' forgiveness.Conclusion:Victims' forgiveness increased in a linear trajectory,and rumination as a time-variant variable influences victims' forgiveness trajectories.关键词
