Abstract
Mannanase is a key enzyme for hydrolyzing mannan, and is widely found in plants, animals and microorganisms, particularly in bacteria. In order to meet the needs of industrial production, heterologous expression of bacterial-derived mannanase gene is studied in order to obtain high-quality mannanase. In this paper, the origin and enzymatic properties of mannanase were reviewed, and the heterologous expression of bacterial mannanase was summarized concerning the aspects of improving the enzyme activity, expanding the pH range and improving the safety, including heterologous expression of Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis and Pichia pastoris. The use of microbial resources can broaden the application of mannanase, and the use of microbial technology can improve the amount of enzyme production to meet industrial needs, these lay a foundation for the determinate evolution and transformation of mannanase.关键词
