Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the efficacy of minocycline hydrochloride combined with tinidazole in treatment of chronic periodontitis .METHODS: 86 patients with chronic periodontitis admitted into Jiangxi Xinfeng County People's Hospital from Jan.2014 to Aug.2016 were extracted to be divided into observation group and control group via the single-double group method , with 43 cases in each .The control group received Tinidazole tablets , while the observation group was additionally treated with minocycline hydrochloride based on the observation group .The clinical efficacy , periodontitis indicators and incidence of adverse drug reactions of two groups were observed . RESULTS:The total effective rate of observation group was 95.35％(41/43), significantly higher than that of control group [81.40％(35/43)], with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).After treatment, the full mouth plaque index , periodontal probing depth , gingival index , tooth mobility degree and periodontal attachment level of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group , with statistically significant difference ( P <0.05 ) .The incidences of adverse drug reactions of two groups were respectively 6.98％( 3/43 ) and 20.93％( 9/43 ) , the difference was not statistically significant between two groups ( P >0.05 ) . CONCLUSIONS: The efficacy of minocycline hydrochloride combined with tinidazole in treatment of chronic periodontitis is remarkable , which can relief clinical symptoms significantly with fewer adverse drug reactions .关键词
