Analysis on Application of Toxic Traditional Chinese Medicines Decoction Pieces in The First Affiliated Hospital of Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine/Guizhou Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine During 2012-2016

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the application and its regularities of toxic traditional Chinese medicines ( TCM) decoction pieces in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine /Guizhou Provinc Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine ( hereinafter referred to as "our hospital") during 2012-2016 , so as to provide references for clinical rational drug application .METHODS:Data of application of toxic TCM decoction pieces during 2012-2016 in our hospital information management system were collected , the usage amount and consumption sum were calculated , sequenced and analyzed .RESULTS: The usage amount of toxic TCM decoction pieces during 2012-2016 in our hospital presented an increasing trend with high amplification , yet its proportion accounted the total usage amount of TCM decoction pieces remained stable within 4.35％(7385.24 kg/169758.80 kg, 2012)-4.95％(10880.26 kg/219859.20 kg, 2016 ); the consumption sum of toxic TCM decoction pieces in our hospital during 2012-2016 were respectively 138200 ,175200 ,258800 ,336900 and 378600 yuan , which presented an increasing trend, with average annual growth rate of 28.65％.In the recent 5 years, expectorant ranked the first in usage amount, secondly were toxic counteracting , vermifuge, necrotic removing and sore healing; the top 2 toxic TCM decoction pieces ranked in usage amount were respectively rhizoma pinellinae praeparata and szechwan Chinaberry fruit, the top 2 ranked in consumption sum were respectively rhizoma pinellinae praeparata and centipede . CONCLUSIONS:The usage amount and consumption sum of TCM decoction pieces and toxic TCM decoction pieces have presented increasing trends , with objective and human causes .Rational application of toxic TCM decoction pieces needs to be paid attention to ensure safe medication for patients .关键词
