摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between preoperative red blood cell distribution width (RDW) and clinicopathological features and prognosis in patients with gastric cancer(GC).Methods The clinical data of 79 patients with GC were collected,the preoperative value of RDW in blood routine was recorded and the relationship between the preoperative value of RDW and clinicopathological features was analyzed.log-rank test and Cox regression model were used to analyze the relationship between preoperative RDW and prognosis of GC.Results The invasion depth,size and clinical stage of tumor were related to the preoperative RDW values of GC patients (P＜0.05 or 0.01).Postoperative tumor-free survival was significantly shorter in patients with preoperative high RDW (13.7 months vs.19.1 months,P＜0.01).The preoperative RDW value is an independent risk factor affecting the postoperative tumor-free survival of patients with GC (HR=1.855,95％CI:1.159-2.968,P＜ 0.05).Conclusion The preoperative RDW value of GC may be a new potential prognosticbiomarker.关键词
