Abstract
The casting defects of the A356 aluminum alloy hub spoke on the actual production line were investigated by the means of penetrant inspection,metallographic microscope,scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS).The results show that the main defects are the holes containing the inclusions of aluminum and silicon oxides and the elongated holes with the acicular β-Fe phase on the grain boundary.In addition,a little of holes contain inclusions caused by the fallings of the filter filament.In order to improve the quality of products,the various defects which are common summarizes and puts forward the corresponding improvement measures.关键词
