Numerical Simulation on Magnetic Flux Density in Direct Current Electromagnetic Pump

Abstract
A 3D FEM simulation of electromagnetic zone was carried out to analyze the magnetic field in direct current electromagnetic pump which was used for fluid metals transfer,and then the influence of magnetic head gap magnetic flux density in different sectional dimension of concentrating magnetic head,various current value as well as coil turns were studied.The results show that the peak value of magnetic flux density is obtained when the concentrating magnetic section size is 50~60% of core section size,and magnetic flux density in gap increase with the increase of current value and coil turns.Magnetic flux intensity achieve saturation state when current value is 1300A and coil turns are 20 as the effect of iron core material properties.关键词
