基于金属化通孔耦合的带宽增强梳状滤波器
Bandwidth-enhanced combline filter based on metallic via coupling
摘要
Abstract
In this paper,a novel bandwidth-enhanced combline filter based on via coupling mechanism is proposed.The novelty of this design lies in the incorporation of via coupling into combline structure.With the same dimensions of the coupling gaps,the coupling coefficientce of the proposed structure can be greatly enhanced as compared with the traditional combline structure so that the bandwidth of the proposed structure can be widened.Meanwhile,investigation shows that via coupling mechanism reveals better fabrication tolerance than the traditional gap coupling mechanism.For demonstration,a bandwidth-enhanced combline filter and a traditional one are both designed,fabricated and measured.The simulated and measured results are presented,showing good consistency.The fractional bandwidth of the proposed combline filter is 17%,while that of the traditional one is only 5%.关键词
