Abstract
The low alloy steel Q370R used for end plates of tubular lignite drying machine in our country is welded by shielded metal arc welding for backing welding and automatic submerged arc welding for filling and cosmetic welding.Meanwhile,the mechanical properties and fracture toughness of weld metal at low temperature are tested.With given maximum working pressure,the outer surface cracks in the welds of welded joints at low temperature are assessed by the national standard GB/T19624-2004 (Safety assessment for in-service pressure vessels containing defect).The results show that assessment point locates within the failure line of simplified assessment but outside the failure line of traditional assessment,and the size of equivalent crack is larger than that of the maximum tolerable equivalent crack,the crack is not acceptable,the structure is unsafe and must be repaired.This study lays the foundation of the application of GB/T19624-2004 for the safety assessment of Q370R steel structure.关键词
