摘要

Abstract

Constructed mainly via Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction, hypercrosslinked polymers (HCPs) possess significant advantages, such as easy to synthesize, porous, non- toxic, structurally stable and lightly weighted. This paper briefly describes the general reaction conditions and mechanism of the conversion. Meanwhile, the synthesis strategy of some HCP materials and their diverse applications in gas adsorption/separation, water-treatment, catalysis, and sensing etc. are also be displayed here. Additionally, we point out the further combination between Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction and HCPs in the future.
