Effect of Cement Substitution by Coral Fillers on the Workability and Mechanical Properties of UHSC

Abstract
The effects of coral fillers on the rheological properties , fluidity and strength of Ultra-high strength concrete ( UHSC) were studied with different levels of replacement (0%, 10%, 20%and 30%by mass) cement.The effects of coral fillers on the hydration products of UHSC were studied by XRD and DTG.The results show that the yield stress and plastic viscosity of the slurry decrease first and then increase with the increase of the content of the coral fillers .The minimum value of yield stress and plastic viscosity can achieve 2.46 Pa, 3.29 Pa· s respectively when the content of the coral fillers is 10%.The maximum value of slump flow diameter of UHSC can achieve about 330 mm when the amount of coral fillers is 10%.Less than 30% of coral fillers can increase the compressive strength of UHPC , and the increase of the 3 d compressive strength of UHSC is most obvious .The addition of coral fillers can significantly reduce the value of cement exothermic peak .The greater the amount of coral fillers , the more obvious the decrease in cement exothermic peak , and the addition of coral fillers can delay the time of cement exothermic peak;XRD and DTG results show that the coral fillers does not change the type of hydration products .关键词
