Abstract
Professor Wu Rongzu holds that the treatment of disease should neithermerely depend on examinations and diagnosis of western medicine nor differentiation of disease,but it should be based on the four diagnostic methods and eight principles in Chinese medicine to identify the chief syndrome.The syndorme differentiation and treatment of fever should be based on the principle of yin and yang,identify the pathogenesis based on pulse syndrome,differentiate yin,yang,exterior,interior,cold,heat,deficiency and excess,use drugs according to the pathogenesis.Professor Wu stresses regulating yin and yang,giving priority to life gate,supplementing yang and sealing yang.He attaches great importance to the root cause,values yang qi of the human body and stresses "consolidation depends on sealing yang" and always use the herbs of Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Praeparata),Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis) and Rougui (Cortex Cinnamomi).关键词
