李红重视凉血法治疗重症亚急性甲状腺炎
Experience from Professor LI Hong attach importance to cooling blood therapy in treatment of severe subacute thyroiditis

Abstract
Professor LI Hong considers that most of severe subacute thyroiditis (SAT) is caused by exuberant heat toxin, blood-heat with blood stasis. It should be treated by clearing away heat to remove toxin and activating the blood, and attaches importance to cooling blood therapy. Around that theory, she made up Yajia decoction with Chinese traditional integrated pharmacological research results. The Chinese herbal compound has the effect of heat-clearing and detoxifying, cooling blood and invigorating circulation, which is used to treat the severe SAT with the syndrome of "Toxin and Heat Excess, Blood Heat and Stagnation". Previous studies have shown that Yajia decoction has the same effect in improving the symptoms, alleviating the degree of inflammation of patients with hormones. But its time required for complete withdrawal and healing days is shorter than prednisone, Yajia decoction is an operative medicine with less adverse reactions and recurrence rates.关键词
