Abstract
The optimized sample number of fiber counts to test cotton fiber length with image method was studied.Ten kinds of different sample quantities were designed which the fiber number is from 500 counts to 5 000 counts.The images of around 10 000 counts cotton fibers were obtained and tested.The related length indexes and length distribution curve were achieved.The matching degree of frequency distribution curve for fiber length and fiber counts under different sample number with totality was analyzed according to three evaluation indexes like correlation coefficient,residual sum of squares and area matching degree.The test result shows that matching degree of distribution curve with totality is the best when the sample number is around 3 000 counts to 3 500 counts.It is the best sample number.It is considered that the determination of optindzed sample number for cotton fiber test can improve the testing efficiency and reduce the working load.It can establish the basis to test fibet length quickly and accurately.关键词
