Research status on the wind augmentation device of drag-type vertical axis wind turbine
摘要
Abstract
Drag-type vertical axis wind turbine(DTVAWT)has the advantages of simple structure,low noise and independence of wind direction.However,its power coefficient is lower than other types of wind turbines.Thus,a lot of attentions have been paid on the wind augmentations or guiding devices which can improve its power coefficient and aerodynamic characteristics greatly.Many kinds of novel augmentations or guiding devices have been proposed all over the world.The objective of this paper is to summary those innovative devices through the discussion of the working mechanics and classification.This paper can provide valuable reference and foundation for the research of the DTVAWT.关键词
