黄河青藏高原亚流域主要支流化学风化CO2消耗及DIC输运
Consumption of Atmospheric CO2 Via Chemical Weathering and DIC Flux in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Major Tributaries of the Yellow River
摘要
Abstract
The Qinghai Tibet Plateau (QTP) is the origin of the high levels of DIC and acts as the main DIC contributor to the Yellow River.Three largest tributaries in the QTP of the Yellow River-the Taohe,Huangshui and Datonghe-arelocated at the boundary of the QTP and Loess Plateau, accounting for 25% area of the QTP.Atmospheric CO2 consumption of the major tributaries does exert an important role in the chemical weathering of QPT.Meanwhile, the origin of CO2 consumption, from QPT or Loess Plateau,is also worth to get attention.By adopting the forward model,we used data from field investigation in August 2015 to interpret the sources of major ions in the rivers, and to discuss the localchemical weathering. The results demonstrate that:the CO2 consumption fluxes of Taohe,Huangshui and Datonghe were 54.85×108 、33.77×108 and 50.04×108mol/a,and the corresponding CO2consumption rates were 21.96×104,22.01×104and 33.08×104mol/km2 · a,respectively. The CO2 consumptionis mainly derived from carbonate weathering. The major tributaries contribute 32.8/% of the atmospheric CO2 consumption and 31.9% of riverine DIC flux to QTP,which is principally from interlaced zone between the QTP and Loess Plateau, and Loess Plateau region.关键词
