长牡蛎壳橙品系形态性状与体质量的相关及通径分析
Multiple Regression and Path Analysis of Morphological and Weight Traits of Pacific Oyster (Crassostrea gigas) Orange-Shell Strain

Abstract
To evaluate the effect of shell morphological traits on weight traits in the orange-shell strain of Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas,shell height (XH),shell length (XL),shell width (Xw),live body weight (YL) and soft tissue weight (Ys) were measured for 144 individuals of two-year-old orange-shell strain of Pacific oyster.Morphological traits (XH,XL and Xw) were used as independent variables and weight traits (YL,Ys) as dependent variables for path coefficient and multiple regression analyses.Correlation indices showed that the direct effects of correlation coefficient between each shell morphological traits (XH,XLand Xw) and weight traits (YL and Ys) were all significantly different (P<0.01).In path analysis,the direct effects of the shell morphological traits on live body weight were in order of shell height (0.477) > shell length (0.336) > shell width (0.326).Shell height had the maximum direct effect (0.228) on the live body weight,and was the key influencing factor.However,the correlation indices (R2) of morphological traits against the edible tissue weight was less than 0.85,indicating that some other factors might associate with the edible tissue weight.The optimum multiple regression equations were also obtained through stepwise multiple regression analysis.关键词
