Characteristics of Treating Leprosy by XUE Ji
摘要
Abstract
Most doctors treating the leporsy usually by dispersing wind and clearing heat throughout history , often neglecting the deficiency of body constitution. XUE Ji,a distinguished doctor in the Ming dynasty,held that it was important to nourish and protect stomach qi for treating leprosy. Besides ,he emphasized palpa-tion,applied attacking and tonifying methods at the same time,and gave herbal medicine in combination with acupuncture,so as to regulate the exterior and interior simultaneously,which formed a unique therapy. By analyzing Mechanism and Gist of Leprosy,the characteristics of treating leprosy by XUE Ji was elaborated.关键词
