Advances in production of surfactin and its application in petroleum industry
摘要
Abstract
Surfactin, one of the most powerful biosurfactants, is a cyclic lipopeptide-type biosurfactant secreted by Bacillus subtilis. Due to its excellent surface and interfacial activities, surfactin has wide applications in petroleum, biomedical, environmental, agricultural and food industries. However, the practical industrial applications are largely limited by the high production cost due to its poor production efficiency and application costs compared with chemical surfactants. We review the current research progress in the fermentation of surfactin and its applications ( especially in petrochemical industry ) . At last,the production and economical application of surfactin are proposed.关键词
